MLA office staffer at Vidhana Soudha dies in Mysuru, Covid-19 suspected
1 min readMysuru: A 36-year-old man working at the office of former minister and sitting MLA H K Patil at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru is suspected to have died of Covid-19.
He is from Kanchinakere village in K R Nagar taluk in the district. If the cause of death is officially announced in the daily bulletin, the death toll in Mysuru due to pandemic will touch three.
He had recently returned to his native from Bengaluru. Though he was suffering from fever he didn’t get himself checked at any hospital in Bengaluru and directly came to his village and later went to a primary health centre, from where he was referred to a private hospital in Mysuru. The throat swabs were collected and sent for test, where the results came out positive.
Following his death, the officers are tracking his travel and contact history. He had spent time with his family and friends.
According to the rule, the deceased person’s colleagues and also H K Patil will be quarantined, it is learnt.
