Anybody growing ganja, brewing hooch? Please inform excise personnel

Mandya: If you come across any persons growing opium, ganja plants and brewing hooch, please inform excise department personnel for initiating further action.
According to a release from the office of excise inspector “of late the cases of people growing opium and ganja plants and brewing hooch at their lands, in violation of narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances (NDPS) Act are coming to light. The consumption of such substances are harmful to life”.
