Amritavarsham- 67! Prayers for world peace organised, 50 attend free health check up camp

Mysuru: On account of Mata Amritanandamayai’s (Amma) 67th birthday celebration, recently on September 27, payers for world peace and social well-being were organised at Mata Amritanandamayi Math in the city.
The day began with Maha Ganapati Homa and Maha Mrithunjaya Homa at 6 am on the premises of the Brahmastana Temple with prayers for world peace and the spirit of “One World, One Prayer”.
The spirit of this was further enhanced with a free medical camp using the tele medicine van facility at Hanur, Chamarajanagar district.
There were about 50 patients who participated in the camp, who underwent free sugar tests, BP tests, ECG, X-Ray, HIV Test, HBSAG Test, Creatinine check and Ultra sound scan. The medicines were also distributed for free.
Social distancing and mandatory face masks were followed in compliance with Covid safety norms, according to Brahmachari Prasadamritananda Chaitanya, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Mysuru.
