NIE students top BIZCHAMP Hackathon

Mysuru: Sneha M a third year student of E&C Engineering was ranked first and Chirag N a third year student of Mechanical Engineering was ranked second in the recently conducted BIZCHAMP Premier League (South Zone) a Business Hackathon conducted by BizChamp Edutech, Bengaluru.
Dhanush D T of Mechanical Engineering & Sindhu H V of E&C Engineering were also ranked fourth and sixth respectively at the same regional event.
The online programme was conducted on July 11.
Students of NIE participated in this unique program along with some of the renowned higher education institutions of South India like Jain University, T John Institute of Management & Science, Presidency University & RV College of Engineering.
The program was a virtual hackathon designed to elevate the business acumen of bright young minds by stimulating entrepreneurial mindset, cross function interdependency, strategy & discussion making and fund management.
Four students of NIE, Mysuru ranked in top 10 among 188 participants across south India. The Management. Principal and the staff congratulate the winners for their achievements.
“It was really a great and unique experience for me. I got an opportunity to gain more knowledge about the things I was unaware of. I really thank the organizers for conducting such a knowledgeable workshop and giving me an opportunity to showcase my skills” said Sneha M, who bagged the big prize.
