Engineers Premier League-2021! ATMECE secures runner up trophy

Mysuru: ATMECE, Mysuru secured Runner up trophy with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 in the Engineers Premier League (EPL) 2021 organized by MIT Mysuru from September 22 to 24.
The final match was between NIE Mysuru and ATMECE Mysuru. While NIE scored 59/8 runs and in reply ATMECE scored 53/5 in allotted eight overs. It was a closely fought match, but ATMECE lost by six runs and settled for second place in the tournament.
Semifinal match was held between MIT Mysuru and ATMECE Mysuru. MITM scored 64/6 runs and ATMECE scored 65/3 in allotted eight overs and won by seven wickets.
Man of the match in semifinal was given to Dr Muralidhar M P for his all-around performance in the match.
For overall performance in the tournament Best Female Staff Player award was given to Harshitha N, Asst Professor, Dept of ECE, ATMECE and for all-round performance in the tournament Dr Muralidhar M P was awarded a trophy.
The Management, Principal and Staff of ATMECE, appreciated and congratulated the team.
