Karnataka Government declares general holiday for Ramzan on May 2

Mysuru: Karnataka Government has declared May 2 as general holiday for Ramzan festival as per the decision of Moon Committee.
State government in its notification on general holidays for the year 2022 had earlier declared May 3 as general holiday for Ramzan.
As per Negotiable Instrument Act 1881 also the general holiday is declared on May 2, according to under secretary to the government ( state protocol).
