PM Modi to inaugurate Aero India today
1 min readBengaluru: The 14th edition of biennial Aero India show, premiere aerospace exhibition will be held for five days from February 13. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the show that will be held at Yelahanka air base in Bengaluru.
As many as 809 exhibitors have registered so far of which 699 are Indian exhibitors. Enthusiasts will be treated with sorties, aerobatic exercises and mid-air performances. Besides, the exhibition will provide perfect platform for aerospace and defence industries to present their advanced products. Indegenously developed products by DRDO will also be on display. One of the main highlights of the event would be promotion of Tejas, India’s light combat aircraft that’s highly agile with single engine.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also chair several conferences on defence industries.
Some of the major exhibitors this year are Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, HAL, BEL among others.
