Somanna refuses ‘Zero Traffic’ in people’s interest

Mysuru: ‘Zero Traffic’ the privilege ministers are entitled to, has been turned down by Housing and District Minister V Somanna.
Somanna said on September 5, “Barring emergency when signal free path should be created for the smooth movement of my convoy in the district, there is no necessity to provide zero traffic. It will create more trouble for the smooth movement of regular traffic”.
Somanna said ” national highways authority of India (NHAI) will no longer maintain outer-ring road (ORR) and the civic authorities will take care of it. The issue related to pending bills are also discussed with Cesc authorities”.
