Tiger attacks woman in coffee estate near Mullayanagiri

Chikkamagalur: A tiger attacked a woman working at a coffee estate near Mullayanagiri in the district on Tuesday.
It is said that the woman was working at Elnoor Khan Coffee Estate when the big cat pounced on her. However, the victim managed to escape from the clutches of the tiger with injuries. She is admitted to a hospital. The authorities have been alerted, and a team from the Forest Department arrived on the spot.
Local police and forest officials have cordoned off the area, cautioning residents and tourists to exercise caution while moving around in the region. Efforts are underway to track the tiger.
