Mysuru: Junior pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetham Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji inaugurated the Kangaroo Care Fertility Center, a state-of-the-art facility offering world-class fertility care, on K D road, at Vijayanagar in Mysuru on Wednesday.

The inauguration ceremony was hosted by Dr Shekar Subbaiah, Senior Neonatologist and CEO and Founder Director of Kangaroo Care.

The seer was given a guided tour of the facility, where Dr Subbaiah showcased the center’s advanced infrastructure and medical technologies.

Highlighting the center’s commitment to excellence in fertility care and neonatal health, Swamiji appreciated the innovative solutions and the dedication of the team to supporting families on their parenthood journey.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Kangaroo Care Fertility Center offers comprehensive fertility services, including advanced treatments like In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), and minimally invasive procedures such as hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries. The center is staffed by experienced professionals dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each couple.

Dr Subbaiah emphasised the holistic approach of the center, stating, “Kangaroo Fertility Center is an extension of our Kangaroo Care Hospital, where we provide all facilities under one roof for women and children. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that empowers patients and supports them in achieving their dreams of parenthood.”

He also highlighted the center’s affordability, describing it as a doctor-driven hospital rather than a corporate entity.

Dr H K Swathi, OBG and Laparoscopic Surgeon at the center, spoke about the increasing factors contributing to infertility, such as late marriages, work stress, environmental pollution, and dietary habits. She assured that the facility is well-equipped with the latest technologies to address these challenges effectively.

The event was attended by Dr M R Jayaram, Chairman of Gokula Education Foundation, along with Dr Suraj, Dr Lakshman, Dr Manjunath, Dr Rama Priya, Dr Leelavathi and Dr Arif, among others.

The Kangaroo Care Fertility Center aims to be a beacon of hope for couples facing fertility challenges, combining medical expertise with compassionate care to ensure physical, emotional, and psychological support throughout the treatment process.
