Accidents! Mysuru police, NHAI officers inspect blackspots

Mysuru: In the wake of fatal accidents repeatedly occurring at blackspots in the city, the police have launched a joint drive along with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to check fatal accidents.
DCP (Crime & Traffic) S Jhanavi inspected the blackspots near Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram, APMC Yard, Bannimantap on Mysuru-Nanjangud road, traffic signal to Doddaladamara junction on Mysuru- T Narsipur road. 
The officers from NHAI 766 (formerly 212) that connects Kollegal in Chamarajanagar and Kozhikode in Kerala via Mysuru accompanied the police during inspection.
The joint exercise aims at reducing fatal accidents in Mysuru city.
