Acid attack: Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar calls on survivor at St John’s Hospital

Bengaluru: Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr K Sudhakar on Saturday visited St John’s Hospital where the acid attack survivor is undergoing treatment.
The 24-year-old girl was allegedly attacked by her spurned lover identified as Nagesh outside her office at Sunkadakatte on Thursday.
Sudhakar told media persons ” The girl has suffered 35 per cent burns. The government will take care of her medical expenses”.
Sudhakar said he will also pray to God for her recovery.
Besides, Sudhakar announced that he will give a financial assistance of Rs five lakh from his pocket.
The minister who demanded a stringent punishment to the accused exuded confidence that the police will arrest him at the earliest.
