‘Adichunchanagiri prioritises research, development in health sector’
1 min readBengaluru: The Adichunchanagiri Institution is making significant contributions to the healthcare sector, offering vital assistance to the underprivileged and economically weaker sections of society.
Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries, H D Kumaraswamy, commended its initiatives, highlighting its exemplary work in research and development in health sector.
Speaking at the 16th BGS Founders’ Day and BGS Utsav-2024 at BGS institution in Kengeri, the minister paid homage to the revered Jagadguru Dr Sri Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji and acknowledged the institution’s unparalleled commitment.
“Adichunchanagiri mutt has transcended caste and religion to serve the masses through its Trivida Dasoha—providing food, education, and shelter to millions of children. Now, by extending healthcare services to the underprivileged, particularly the economically weaker sections, the mutt has become a beacon of selfless service,” the minister remarked.
Hailing the Mutt’s efforts, he further noted, “Students from across the state, the nation, and even abroad come here to pursue their education. On the strong foundation laid by Sri Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, Sri Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji is carrying forward the institution’s legacy. Today, the Mutt’s institutions are globally renowned for their service and excellence.”
The revered pontiff, Dr Sri Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, graced the occasion and delivered a holy address.
The event was also attended by Sri Prakashanatha Swamiji, sculptor Arun Yogiraj, and actress Priyanka Upendra, among other dignitaries.
