After Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal led AAP set to create history in Punjab

New Delhi: Like it decimitated ruling Congress in New Delhi close to a decade ago to storm into power, Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is at it in Punjab too.
Kejriwal is in the office for consecutive second term as the Chief Minister of Delhi.
If gone by the leads in Punjab Assembly elections, where the counting of votes is underway, AAP is set to make a history as it is ahead in 89 seats, while the ruling Congress leads in barely 13 of the total 117 Assembly seats in the State.
With this, AAP is all set to expand its base from the national capital to Punjab, which it had been trying hard since long.
Shiromani Akali Dal ( SAD) led alliance is leading in nine, followed by five of BJP.
Former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab Lok Congress has failed to make an impact, even after having a truck with BJP.
