After six months, Kote Anjaneya Swamy temple reopened for devotees
1 min readMysuru: Kote Anjaneya Swamy temple at Mysore Palace North gate is reopened for devotees from Thursday.
The rituals related to reopening of the temple Mahasamprokshana was performed today by the priests. On Wednesday Ankurarpana ritual was performed.
Following the repair works in the ceiling of the temple taken up by Muzrai department, the temple had been closed for devotees for six months since November 2021.
However, not to disappoint the devotees, the portrait of the original idol was kept at the main door along with the idols of other Gods and was being worshipped. With the repair works of the temple completed, it is opened again for the darshan of the original idol for devotees.
