Assistant Director of Information department R Raju transferred to Bengaluru
1 min readMysuru: R Raju Assistant Director of Department of Information and public Relations (DIPR), Mysuru has been transferred to the head office in Bengaluru.
Raju was relieved from Mysuru on Thursday.
Harish who is currently serving in Mandya is expected to succeed Raju.
Ever since his stint in Mysuru in the year 2016, Raju successfully handled many initiatives especially the transformation of the system from manual to digital that was introduced in his term here.
Raju was successfully a part of six Dasara celebrations, Assembly election, Parliamentary election, by-elections of Nanjangud and Hunsur to the Assembly. Kumba Mela at T Narasipura and Talakadu Panchalinga Darshana were also organised successfully.
He coordinated many VVIP events in Mysuru that included Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mysuru twice, former President of India Pranab Mukerjee and incumbent President Ramnath Kovind.
Raju thanked the officers including past Deputy Commissioners like Randeep, Abhiram G Shankar, B Sharath, Darpan Jain, Rohini Sindhuri and current DC Dr Bagadi Goutham and fellow officers of various departments.
Raju also thanked Mysuru media friends and his office staff for the support.
