BJP ahead so far in early counting

Mysuru: In the first few hours into counting of postal ballots, BJP is ahead of the fame with 47 votes and Congress is tailing behind with 40 and JDS 15. Some of the candidates who are in the lead so far are Jagdish Shettar in Hubballi-Dharwad Central, B Y Vijayendra in Shikaripura, Aravind Bellad in Hubballi-Dharwad East and Vishvesgwar Hegde Kageri in Sirsi. It is yet to be seen whether these and other candidates will maintain the lead till the end.
