Cesc vigilance wing busts 27 cases of power theft in Hassan

Hassan: Personnel of Vigilance wing, Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (Cesc) Limited, Mysuru, conducted simultaneous raids in the villages of Channarayapatna and Holenarasipur taluks in Hassan district and booked 27 cases of power theft on Thursday.
Those booked in the cases had drawn electricity connection illegally, causing losses to the Energy Department.
The cases have been booked at Cesc Vigilance Station in Hassan.
The raids were conducted under the supervision of Managing Director of Cesc Jayavibhava Swamy and SP, Vigilance of Cesc, Mysuru, Rashmi Paraddi and led by DySP of Cesc Vigilance wing, Mysuru, Dharmendra and Executive Engineer Tabassum.
