Chikkodi police arrest progressive thinker Harohalli Ravindra in Mysuru

Mysuru: Chikkodi police from Belagavi are learnt to have arrested progressive thinker Harohalli Ravindra from Varuna in Mysuru on Friday.
Ravindra has been arrested following a arrest warrant issued by the court in 2019. Since then Ravindra was skipping appearance at the court, it is said.
Chandrashekar Bapu Munde of Karoshi village in Chikkodi taluk in Belagavi had registered a complaint on December 27, 2017 against Ravindra at Chikkodi station.
In his complaint, Munde had alleged that Ravindra had deliberately insulted Hindu Gods especially Sri Krishna in his facebook post and also WhatsApp. He had allegedly shared the post from his Facebook ID to incite communal feelings. He had also made an open challenge for the believers of Sri Krishna saying ” We too are ready for all”.
Upon his arrest, Ravindra is being taken to Belagavi to be produced before the court, it is learnt.
