Child lifters on prowl? Don’t panic, inform cops on helpline 112
1 min readMysuru: Of late false news are being spread on social media along with videos about child lifters on the prowl.
Instead of getting panicked and resorting to take law into the hands by restraining innocents and assaulting them, the people should alert the helpline 112 or district police control room on 0821- 2444800.
According to a press release from SP of Mysuru, it is stated that “Recently the villagers of Kurihundi in Hullahalli police station limits had restrained a group of nomads, suspecting them as child lifters. Upon receiving the information police rushed to the spot and upon enquiry they were found to be innocents and were rag pickers.
Those who spread false information on child kidnappers on social media will be strictly dealt according to law, the release added.
