City police issue prohibitory orders! Return home before 8 pm, close shops by 7.30 pm
1 min readMysuru: As Covid-19 spreads its tentacles, the city police have extended the prohibitory orders from June 29 till further orders.
According to a release from the office of police Commissioner “Beginning from Sunday ( July 5) there will be total lockdown on all Sundays till August 02. However, there is no restrictions on supply of essential goods”.
The night curfew will be in place daily from 8 pm to 5 am. Barring those people who will be out on road for emergency services, the movement of people without any valid reasons will be strictly dealt. The people should return home before 8 pm and the shops must be closed at 7.30 pm. However, this is not applicable to those shops providing essential services.
However, the vehicles providing emergency medical services, private vehicles with pass, government vehicles followed by that of Hopcoms, food and civil supplies, home delivery and kitchen services will have exemption till 9 pm. There is no restriction on services related to agriculture activities, the release stated.
