CM asks MUDA to withhold decisions taken three months ago!
1 min readMysuru: All the decisions taken by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority in the last three months will be withheld following the directions by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Chairing the KDP review meeting here on Saturday, CM Siddaramaiah asked the officials of MUDA not to go ahead with any decisions three months ago.
He also directed the officials to provide drinking water to the beneficiaries and protect the standing crops as the monsoon is delayed this year. Officials especially in Mangaluru, Udupi, Raichur, Koppal and other districts have been asked to take effective measures to check supply of clean drinking water. In case of water crisis in Mysuru, a contingency plan should be prepared, he observed. He asked the officers to be courteous to people who come to them with their problems.
He further instructed the senior officials to visit the subordinate offices frequently and also take up field visits to understand the ground realities.
District in-charge Minister Dr HC Mahadevappa will hold a KDP meeting again, he said.
A high-level committee meeting has to be convened to decide the formation of the Dasara Authority and a meeting will be called immediately in this regard, he said.
There is no question of sharing Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu this time as the State has shortage of water this time, CM Siddaramaiah said.
