Congress leader Somashekar dies of cardiac arrest

Mysuru: Congress leader Somashekar passed away due to massive cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was 44.
Somashekar had served as the President of Youth Congress, Mysuru- Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency.
He is a resident of Vijayanagar second stage in the city.
According to sources close to him, Somashekar had gone to Goa on a trip with his friends on Friday. He suffered cardiac arrest while returning from the trip.
The mortal remains of Somashekar is expected to arrive in the city late in the night. The last rites will be conducted at the burial ground in Gokulam, as per Ediga community tradition at 12 noon on Sunday.
He is survived by his wife Prafulla, daughters Nayanika and Moulya, a large number of relatives and friends.
