Congress leaders hold marathon meeting at Kharge’s house
1 min readBengaluru: With less than 24 hours to go for the counting of Karnataka Assembly votes, hectic political activities are underway.
Going by the Exit poll prediction, the Congress seems to be buoyant to form the government and a meeting is underway at the Sadashivanagar residence of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge here on Friday.
KPCC president D K Shivakumar who arrived at Kharge’s house to take part in the meeting, told mediapersons that he does not believe in Exit poll prediction as he believes that the Congress party will get 141. “This number won’t come down and I am sure that the Congress will get a clear majority. Besides, the ballot is stronger than the bullet,” is how Shivakumar exuded confidence.
When mediapersons queried him on possible alliance with JDS, Shivakumar claimed that he was not aware of JDS leader Kumaraswamy’s plans.
