Countdown begins for verdict in Babri masjid demolition case, cops tighten security arrangements

Mysuru: As the countdown begins for the final verdict of CBI special court in Lucknow over the demolition of babri masjid at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, city police have tightened the security to prevent any untoward incidents.

According to police sources, police patrolling has been increased in all the police stations limits. Apart from the heavy contingent of police personnel, two platoons of KSRP, 16 of CAR and two commando units have also been deployed to tackle exigency.

As a precautionary measure, all kinds of processions, celebrations and public gatherings have been restricted by the police.
