Covid-19 infected Hassan cop triggers worries in Mysuru, Hunsur

Mysuru: After the news of an Assistant Sub-Inspector of police tested positive for Covid-19 visiting Hunsur to be with his ailing mother went viral, residents of Hunsur are worried that about the virus’ spread.
It is learnt that the ASI is posted on duty in Hassan. He travelled to Hunsur for his mother’s treatment at Lakshmi Clinic. It is said that ASI is the resident of Vijayanagar, second stage in Mysuru.
As the news spread, the health and family welfare department staff disinfected the whole area.
Following this, the residents of both Vijayanagar and Hunsur are a worried lot.
