Covid-19: MCC orders to shutdown markets for four days
1 min readMysuru: In order to control the rapid spread of the Corona virus, the Mysuru City Corporation has ordered to close markets for four days in the city.
On Wednesday, Mysuru City Corporation commissioner Gurudatta Hegde issued a public notice to sanitise markets.
Some of the markets in the city witnessed highest footfall in the recent days. Besides, Devaraja market is close to the containment zone. Considering this, the MCC ordered to close.
Devaraja Market, Mannar’s Market, Santhepet, Shivarampete and Boti Bazaar from June 25 to four days. Markets will be opened only after they are sanitised.
Meanwhile, it has asked the vendors to strictly abide by the safety protocols issued by the health department.
