Covid-19 testing centre opened at JSS Hospital! CM inaugurates centre online

Mysuru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday inaugurated HINI Covid-19 testing centre at JSS Hhospital on M G road in the city.

The chief minister inaugurated the centre by the click of the mouse online from his home office Krishna in Bengaluru.

MLAs S A Ramadass and L Nagendra and JSS Mahavidyapeeth Secretary S P Manjunath during the inauguration of Covid-19 Testing Centre at JSS Hospital in Mysuru.

It’s the second centre in the district and first by a private hospital. It is equipped with the State of the art equipment that will give the much needed push to strengthen the fight against the pandemic.

Former minister and MLA S A Ramadass who lauded the initiative of JSS hospital said “there is a growing fear about the community spread in the world as well as the city. I myself volunteered for the test to instil confidence among the people to get themselves tested at the government hospital”.

Substantiating that there is a community spread, Ramadass quoted the recent cases where a bank employee and RBI officer are also infected by the virus.

Another MLA L Nagendra said ” when the crises is looming large, the initiative taken up by the JSS hospital is timely. It will benefit about 15 lakh population in the city itself”.
