Covid threat! Mask must for passengers to board BMTC buses

Bengaluru: Following the spurt in Covid cases, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is on high alert.
The authorities have directed to allow only those passengers wearing mask to board the bus.
As a precaution, it has decided to make wearing mask mandatory even for drivers and conductors at the earliest.
On Wednesday, Karnataka reported 126 new Covid cases, with 114 in Bengaluru alone. Hence the authorities are taking all the measures to check the spread of virus, with the threat of fourth wave looming large.
