Crocodile rescued from a well in T Narsipur village

Mysuru: A crocodile was rescued from a well at C B Hundi in T Narsipur in the district.
The crocodile weighing 750 kg was found in a well 15 feet to 20 feet deep at an agricultural field in the village. A team of about 15 to 20 forest personnel were involved in the rescue operation.
It has been decided to release the crocodile into Cauvery river at Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary at Srirangapatna in Mandya district.
