Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji’s padayatra for world peace concludes in Mysuru

Mysuru: The six-day padayatra of junior pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peeth Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji concluded in the city on Wednesday.
The seer had undertaken the Padayatra for world peace on account of 80th birthday celebration of Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peeth, Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashram in the city.
The Padayatra began on May 13 from Mekedatu. The Padayatra culminated at the Ashram on Ooty road in the city.
The seer who entered the city through Kurubarahalli Circle offered floral tributes to the State of freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna near Kurubarahalli Circle on the way.
MLA S A Ramadass, Corporator K R Ramesh, K R Cooperative Bank Vice-president Basavaraj Basappa, Cable Mahesh, Apoorva Suresh, Mohan, Harish, Shyam and Kurubarahalli Manjanna were present.
