DC Charulatha Somal inspects Moolehole checkpost at Karnataka- Kerala border

Gundlupet: With Omicron the new variant of Covid-19 posing a new threat, the Chamarajanagar district administration is keeping a tab on check posts.
Deputy Commissioner Charulatha Somal visited the Moolehole check post at Gundlupet on Saturday night, that connects Karnataka and Kerala.
The DC categorically instructed the personnel deputed at the check post to seek compulsory RT-PCR negative certificate from travellers from Kerala.
The DC also looked into the registry of vehicles maintained to keep a tab on the vehicles that pass through the border check post daily.
Additional Deputy Commissioner S Katyayini Devi and Tahsildar Ravishankar were present.
