Dial Dasara Helpline! 24×7 facility launched at DC’s office

Mysuru: Any information related to Dasara festival that will unfold from September 29 will be provided round the clock.
All you have to do is, dial the number of helpline set up at the deputy Commissioner’s office- 0821- 2444777.
The students of tourism and hospitality management of Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post- graduate Centre in the city are roped in to manage the helpline.
They will provide information about various events and facilities related to Dasara.
HoD, tourism, Satish Chetty told Mysoorunews.com.”Our students are well trained to handle the centre. They will provide information related to transportation and accommodation facilities too. The students will be also deputed to tourust kiosks that will be opened near tourist spots”.
District minister V Somanna who inaugurated the centre said “deputy commissioner Abhiram G Sankar headed team will manage the centre”.
Police Commissioner K T Balakrishna, Additional Deputy Commissioner B R Poornima, MP Prathap Simha, Deputy Director of Tourism Department H P Janardhan, BJP leaders S M Shivaprakash, S K Dinesh, Cable Mahesh and other leaders were present.
