Farmer dies as tractor overturns while tilling land

Mysuru: A tractor driver met his tragic end while tilling his agricultural land at Belathur village in Periyapatna taluk on Monday.
Mahadev son of Nanjegowda was tilling the land, when the tractor turned upside down. Mahadev sustained severe head injuries as he was caught between the engine. He succumbed to the injuries on the spot.
Mahadev a native of Parekoppal was staying at his in-laws house in Belathur where the incident took place.
Periyapatna police have registered a case.
