Former health minister of Kerala Shailaja Teacher visits CIIL, SLRC in Mysuru

Mysuru: For the implementation of Comprehensive Educational Programme, K K Shailaja Teacher, former Health Minister of Kerala and sitting MLA of Mattanur constituency visited the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) & Southern Regional Language Centre (SRLC) in the city recently.
She led a delegation of eight experts.
Educational Development, Establishment of Language Laboratory, Career Guidance, Counseling Cell and structure of New School System are included in the programme.
As a part of the programme Shailaja Teacher visited CIIL & SRLC and had a discussion with language faculties and observed the Teaching Learning Process and Research Works of SRLC.
M Venkatesan, LLT described about the SRLC Language Lab.
“I express my interested of collaboration with SRLC academically in future. The role of Language Lab will be essential in language acquisition”, said Shailaja Teacher.
Dr Narayan Kumar Choudhary, Assistant Director of CIIL and Dr Rakesh Cherucodu, Principal of SRLC received Shailaja Teacher.
