Former Principal of Maharani’s College Prof Simha passes away

Mysuru: Prof Vijayaveera Simha (82), retired principal, passed away in the city on Tuesday.
A resident of Adichunchanagiri road, Kuvempunagar in the city, Prof Simha was ailing from sometime. He was admitted at a hospital in the city.
Simha had served as the Principal, Professor at Government Maharani’s Arts College For Women, Mysuru for about 18 years. He had retired as the Principal of Government First Grade College, Hassan.
His wife M R Leela had passed away 20 years ago.
He is survived by his daughter, son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, a large number of relatives and friends.
The last rites will be performed at the K G Koppal burial grounds at 2 pm onwards, according to his family members.
