Former union minister Jaswant Singh dies at 82

New Delhi: Former minister and BJP leader Jaswant Singh passed away due to cardiac arrest at Army Research and Referral Hospital here on Sunday. He was 82.
A native of Rajastan, Singh had served as a defence minister, foreign minister and also finance minister. Singh who was with the armed forces in 1950’s later quit the services midway and plunged into politics.
He was one of the founding members of BJP.
Singh had been admitted to the hospital in June due to the relapse of complications caused due to old head injury and other multi health disorders.
Singh had however tested negative for Covid-19.
