Ganabharathi ex-secretary Ramanuja Iyengar passes away
1 min readMysuru: B N Ramanuja iyengar passed away due to age related ailments in the city on Tuesday. He was 87.
A resident of Kuvempunagar, Iyengar was a retired employee of Indian Railways. He was a connoisseur of art and was actively involved in Ganabharathi a dedicated association for the promotion of music in the city. He was the former president of Ganabharathi and had also served as its secretary for 25 long years.
He leaves behind his wife, son and daughter. Dr C G Narasimhan is his brother-in-law.
The last rites were performed at Harishchandra Ghat near the foothills of Chamundi.
