Germans in Mysuru being sent back to their country
1 min readMysuru: The district administration has made arrangements to send back foreigners in the city to their native places.
This follows the precautionary measures being taken in the wake of outbreak of Coronavirus that has already claimed three lives in the state.
Nearly 18 Germans underwent medical test at a temporary camp set up at Kalamandir on Friday. Those who were found fit will be travelling to German consulate office in Bengaluru.
Mysuru is a prominent yoga hub and people across the globe choose the city of palaces for learning yoga. Accordingly, nearly 18 Germans who had come to the city are now returning to their own place.
District administration under the leadership of Tourism Department deputy director H P Janardhan has made arrangements to ferry them in a special bus, with Covid-19 sticker pasted in the front to make it a hassle free journey.
Prior to that passports were examined and the similar drive is undertaken across the state, said a source.
