‘Holige’ Ananthaiah
1 min readMysuru: Ananthaiah (68) passed away in Mysuru on 20/04/2019. He was ailing from the past one year and was being treated at a hospital.
According to C Narayan Gowda president of Hotel Owners Association (HOA), Mysore, Ananthaiah of Sridevi Holige Shop on Dewan’s road near Hayagreeva College was popular for his deft hands in making ‘Holige’ a sweet dish made of ‘Maida’ flour.
He was also a senior member of HOA. He leaves behind his wife Jyoti Rao, son Srivatsa Rao and daughter Vanishree Rao. The last rites was performed at MCC crematorium near the foothills of Chamundi in the evening.
