Hotel owners delegation meets CM Yediyurappa; seek permission to resume business
1 min readBengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is learnt to have assured a delegation of hoteliers to take a call before May 31, on allowing the restaurants to reopen in the state.
According to C Narayan Gowda president of Hotel Owners Association, Mysuru, the delegation met the chief minister at his home office ‘Krishna’.
It was brought to the notice that 13 lakh employees are in distress and also 50,000 hoteliers in the state, as the hotels are closed due to the lockdown in place. Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwathnarayan was also present.
The delegation was led by Karnataka State Hotel Association president B Chandrashekar Hebbar, general secretary Madhukar M Shetty, Arun Adiga of Vidyarti Bhavan and Krishnaraju of Nisarga Hotel.
