International Women’s Entrepreneurship Day:Ubuntu Consortium to bring 54 associations on one platform
3 min readBengaluru: Every year, November 19 is celebrated as the International Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. To honor women entrepreneurs who have carved out a place in commerce and industrial activities through which they achieve social and economic empowerment of the country.
Ubuntu Consortium is organising an International Seminar “Borderless Business Opportunities” & will also honour exceptional women business and industrial achievers through its Star Awards for Women Entrepreneurs: Recognizing Excellence.
In this event which will be held at the Taj Vivanta, on November 19th, Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, Minister for MSME & Public
Enterprises, Government of Karnataka will be the chief guest of the inaugural event. Dr Rajneesh, IAS, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, MSME, Government of India, New Delhi, will be the special Guest of honour, along with Sarah Gideon, Head of Communication, CSR,
FlipKart, Carey Arun, Counsellor for Commercial Affairs, US Commercial
Service, US Consulate – Chennai, India will be the keynote speaker. Shalini Rajneesh, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka will be the chief guest for the valedictory ceremony and UBUNTU Star Awards. N A

Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Government of India will participate as the special guests of honour.
As part of the event, three panel discussions will be held. The first session
