Kannadakkagi Navu campaign launched! CM Basavaraj Bommai turns singer for cause of language

Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday turned singer for the cause of Kannada.
It is a part of Kannadakkagi Navu campaign organised to promote the language ahead of Karnataka Rajyotsava across the State on November 1.
Bommai sang Kannada songs in chorus along with elected representatives and officials and singers at a programme organised by Hubballi- Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC).
All the participants held Kannada flag ( Red and Yellow) creating a Kannada atmosphere, with the songs reverberating the hall.
Former minister and Surpur MLA Rajugouda ( Narasimha Nayak), former MP Prof I G Sanadi, Dharwad DC Nitesh K Patil, HDMC Commissioner Dr Suresh Itnal were present.
