Karnataka elections: Congress files complaint against Amit Shah
1 min readBengaluru: Taking a strong exception to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent remarks that “If the Congress party wins the upcoming elections, then the whole Karnataka will be afflicted with communal riots”, Congress leaders filed a complaint against Shah in High Grounds Police Station, Bengaluru on Thursday.
In the complaint, Congress leaders claim that Shah’s comments were an attempt to disrupt communal harmony in the State. They urged the police to file an FIR against Amit Shah, who made these statements while campaigning at Bagalkot. In the complaint they alleged that his statements were threatening people to vote in favour of BJP.
Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah is obligated to uphold the law.

Sadly, he himself is violating the law committing serious offences under the IPC & Representation of People’s Act by making false & misleading statements against the Congress and creating division and enmity.
