Karnataka elections: Elephant attacks man while returning from polling booth

Hanur (Chamarajanagar district): A man was trampled to death when an elephant attacked him after returning from casting his vote at Thokare village that falls within the limits of Malemahadeshwara wildlife sanctuary. The deceased is identified as Puttaswamy (50).
Puttaswamy, a resident of Thokere was a daily wage worker. The wild tusker attacked him when he was returning after casting his vote in Thokere.
