Mysuru: Yet again Krishnaraja BJP MLA S A Ramadass has missed the cabinet berth and scores of his followers are upset for not considering their leader for the ministry.
The followers of Ramadass have been calling on the latter at his office in Vidyaranyapuram and are engaged in a series of meetings.
After learning about his name not figuring in the list of ministers submitted to Governor’s office ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, Ramadass took to micro blogging site twitter to vent his anguish in a sarcastic way.
Ramadass wrote- Those who organized the party and are eligible are becoming ministers. I wish them all the best. Let Goddess Chamundeshwari bless them.
Later Ramadass told media “I am not interested in doing postmortem. Our party has taken a step. I will work for the development of constituency only,” added Ramadass.
” I am the son of a soldier and not corrupt. So I will only work to reach state and central governments schemes to 62,814 households in Krishnaraja Constituency,” said Ramadass.
Earlier also my name was dropped just minutes ahead of the formation of ministry. I was not upset and also attended the swearing-in ceremony. Unfortunately I miss Ananthkumar, as he was encouraging me, said Ramadass.
B S Prashanth a travel operator and ardent follower of Ramadass said “He is an experienced MLA and has a good vision about Mysuru. We oppose the decision of BJP state and national leaders for not considering Ramadass. Don’t introduce outers to Mysuru as incharge ministers, all we want is a Mysuru MLA as Minister,” he added.
