KSOU staff accuses VC, registrar of giving promotions for money; registrar serves showcause notice
1 min readMysuru: Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Registrar has issued a showcause notice to a second division assistant (SDA) for making inappropriate allegations against the top echelons at the varsity.
In the notice dated April 20, a copy of which is with Mysoorunews.com “written clarification has been sought from SDA Krishnegowda C M of admission section within three days of receiving the notice”.
In a backhand note of a letter written to the registrar, Krishnegowda had alleged that “KSOU Vice-Chancellor and Registrar are illegally giving promotions for money and bribe. You have made it a racket and business of giving promotion…”.
When Mysoorunews.com contacted KSOU Vice Chancellor Prof S Vidyashankar said “SDA had made false accusations against the varsity authorities. So we asked for a clarification and authentic documents to substantiate the charges made by the staff. Otherwise we will take a strict action. We have given him time to reply”, Vidyashankar added.
