Man held for raping and murdering 3-year-old

Bengaluru: In a ghastly incident, a 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping and murdering a three-year-old girl in Kamakshipalya police station limits, here on Tuesday.
It is said that the accused knew the victim’s parents who worked in a garment factory in Kamakshipalya station limits since many years. It is alleged that he raped the three year old when her parents were away and hit her with a heavy rod when the baby girl began to cry. He later abandoned her and escaped. The victim’s parents who saw the body, immediately informed the police and the police have arrested the accused. He has been booked under POCSO, IPC 376 and IPC 302.
