Mark the date! Music maestro Ilayaraja, A R Rahman to perform at Yuva Dasara

Mysuru: It’s official. Music maestro Ilayaraja and the iconic composer A R Rahman will be performing on the grand stage of Yuva Dasara at Uttanahalli, in the outskirts of the city.
Ilayaraja will perform on October 10 and A R Rahman on October 9.
The Mysuru district administration has made preparations for the grand Yuva Dasara event, as part of Dasara-2024 celebrations.
Popular singer Shreya Ghoshal, KGF fame music director Ravi Basrur and rapper Badshah will also perform during Yuva Dasara from October 6 to October 10, with the shows starting at 6 PM.
The relocation of Yuva Dasara venue from Maharaja’s Grounds to Uttanahalli has sparked widespread debate online and among the public, with concerns raised over security and transportation challenges.
In response, the Mysuru District Police have taken additional responsibilities to ensure smooth management of the event at the new venue, off Mysuru- Nanjangud road.
