New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday appealed to the parties irrespective of winning and losing to work unitedly for the progress of Delhi.
Making it aptly clear that the party believes in taking all along, without continuing to play politics, Kejriwal asserted that “It is enough that we did politics till today, we will work united for the cause of Delhi”.
“I seek the cooperation of BJP, Congress and all others to correct Delhi. With this victory, those who have won aren’t just the corporators of respective parties, but of Delhi”, said Kejriwal.
“We have won the fourth elections in Delhi and the people have sent a clear message to the country that one should do ‘positive politics’ thanĀ ‘negative politics’. I believe that the country will progress further and become numero uno only if we do positive politics. There are many who have become councillors, MLAs and Ministers, but never be egoistic as many many powerful governments have fallen down”, warned Kejriwal, elated over the impressive show of the party in the election to Municipal Corporation of Delhi snatching power from its arch rival BJP.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and others also addressed the gathering of party workers from the ramparts of the party office.
